Connection Church Family Movie Night is tomorrow evening, November 30th, at 6pm

Featuring “The Star”:

An animated nativity story told through the eyes of a young donkey named Bo, who helps Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, and witnesses the first Christmas. 

Wear your pjs or comfy clothes and bring your favorite drink

Free popcorn will be provided!

Our Annual Clothing Giveaway is this week!!!

Drop-off starts this Monday, December 1st through Thursday the 4th, 3-7pm each evening. The big Giveaway is Saturday, December 6th, 8am- noon. This is one of the largest outreach ministries that we put on for our community and we're able to serve a lot of people through the time and donations that people give! We can still use more volunteers, so if you're able to help serve any time this week please sign up on the sheet in the church foyer. Flyers to get the word out about the Giveaway are also available. Please take as many as you would like to share to help us get the word out!

Next Sunday, December 7th our community will be celebrating Christmas with two different events, starting with Christmas on Main from 2-5pm. Some of our local churches will be taking part by having booth on Main Street, and the event will wrap up with lighting of the tree. Each of the churches' booths will be giving out punches on a punch card.  They'll be using these punch cards to bless some people in our community with a 55 inch TV and 2 kids' bikes at the Community Christmas service- 6pm at St. Elmo Christian Church! We hope you'll join us for these events to celebrate Jesus' birth together with other believers.

Friday, December 12th 5:30- 7:30pm in the church Fellowship Hall

Dinner will be served! You'll also enjoy cocoa, Christmas cookies, games, and of course...gingerbread fun!

December 14th, starting at 10am, we're celebrating a Merry Connection Christmas! It’ll be a unique Sunday service that will begin with worshipping our Savior! —followed by a funny, relatable skit that leads into a short sermon. Our Connection Kids and 29:ELEVEN youth group will bring the service to a close with a short program.

THEN, after all of that, join us for a catered holiday meal in the Fellowship Hall! 

(Yes, a meal where you don’t have to bring anything and you don’t have to feel bad if you forgot—just show up and eat!) We encourage you to invite your friends and family. This is a great opportunity to introduce someone new to the church!

Sunday, December 21st will be your chance to show off your ugliest Christmas sweater at church! We can't wait to see everyone's Christmas fashion! 

We hope you'll join us on Christmas Eve, December 24th, at 6pm for a special candlelight service. This is such an intimate and meaningful way to remember Jesus during this busy season. We know you'll be blessed by making room in your holiday plans to attend. 

As we get closer to the end of the year, this year's Secret Sisters will be wrapping up. If you participated this year be sure to reveal yourself to your secret sister by Christmas.

Our suggested donation item for the food pantry this month is stuffing and noodles. All your food donations are welcomed and so appreciated. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our local Food Pantry!
